AI + creative systems for apparel brands

Make your team fluent in AI without flattening the brand.

Most AI consultants understand tools. Most fashion consultants understand taste. Flume & Field sits in the rare overlap: apparel-native creative direction, product strategy, visual storytelling, and AI workflows.

Built for founder-led apparel and DTC brands doing $1M to $35M in annual revenue, with lean teams under 50 people.

What this looks like in practice

Here is what we do.

Your team already writes product pages, plans campaigns, builds launch content, and sits on a pile of customer reviews nobody has time to read.

We set up simple, AI-assisted ways to do that same work faster. Built in tools you already have. Written in your brand voice. With clear rules about where a human makes the call.

Then we teach your team to run it without us.

That is the whole model. No platforms to install. No six-month transformation. One piece of your workload at a time, made faster and more consistent.

The point of view

Generic AI tricks are not enough.

You need AI systems built around product, taste, customer language, launch pressure, and the way apparel creative work actually gets approved.

Flume & Field helps teams become more fluent in AI without handing brand voice, creative judgment, or product storytelling to generic software defaults.

PDPs that change tone every launch
Campaign briefs rebuilt from scratch
AI experiments with no shared rules
Founder bottlenecks and fuzzy handoffs

"The pattern I keep seeing is a marketing person using one tool, a designer secretly using another, and a founder paying for three subscriptions nobody opened last month. Everyone's experimenting and nobody's aligned. That's not AI adoption. That's expensive chaos."Mallyce Miller

AI consulting offers

Three AI offers for apparel teams.

01 / Diagnose

The Apparel AI Audit

$2,000 · 2 weeks

Think of it as a home inspection before the renovation.

We look at how your team currently gets creative work done, from product pages to campaigns, and find where things are slow, inconsistent, or stuck on one person. Then we tell you where AI genuinely helps, where it should not touch your work, and what to fix first.

You walk away with: a written report and a 30-day plan. What to fix, in what order, and who should own it.

  • Review of how your creative work gets done today
  • Where AI helps, where humans stay in charge
  • A read on your product pages and storytelling
  • Your biggest friction points, ranked
  • A 30-day plan with clear first steps

No building happens here. This is the step that tells you what is worth building.

Up to $1,500 can be applied toward a Workflow Sprint booked within 30 days.

03 / Connect

AI Creative Operating System

from $12,000

Not software you install. A private online workspace where everything lives in one place.

This is for when the problem is not one broken process. It is that your ecom person, your content person, and your designer all work in separate bubbles, each using AI their own way, and the output shows it.

We build one shared home base: your brand guidelines, product details, and customer insights, plus connected workflows that pull from all of it. Whoever writes the product page or the campaign brief, it sounds like your brand and uses accurate information.

You walk away with: a private workspace your team logs into, a Prompt Hub organized by task, written brand voice rules, optional AI assistants trained on your brand, and full team training.

THE GUARANTEE

If every workflow is not live and used weekly by day 30, I keep working with you free until it is.

  • One shared workspace, built in simple tools your team already understands
  • A Prompt Hub: pre-written prompts in your brand voice for every recurring task
  • Your brand voice, written as rules
  • Product storytelling frameworks
  • Optional AI assistants trained on your brand
  • Team training and a handoff guide

Training happens live over Zoom. For LA-area brands, in-person training at your studio is available.

Working together

How we work.

Clear terms up front, so there are no surprises once the work starts.

Your side of the table

You assign one project lead, provide requested materials and access, and return consolidated feedback within two business days.

Scope

A Sprint covers one recurring process with one primary output and a defined group of stakeholders.

Costs

Third-party software, platform subscriptions, and custom development are not included unless specified in the proposal.

What this is

We build operating workflows your team runs. We don't replace your technology stack, and we're not permanent tech support.

Tool fluency

We evaluate the tools so your team doesn't have to.

Every recommendation comes from hands-on testing across the AI tools apparel teams actually use. We publish our evaluations at Fashion AI Toolkit.

"I don't hand brands a strategy document and wish them luck. I sit with the team, build the workflows in their actual tools, and stay until it runs without me. A recommendation isn't a result. A deliverable your team uses every week is."Mallyce Miller

Who's behind this

Mallyce Miller.

Headshot of Mallyce Miller

Mallyce Miller is a Creative Director and brand builder with 20 years in the fashion industry. She spent 14 of them as the first and lead creative and marketing hire at JOLYN, the athletic swimwear brand, helping grow it from a startup into a global business sold at REI, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Nordstrom, and building an Instagram community of 255K without a dollar of paid spend. She owned everything the customer saw and felt: brand identity, mission, campaigns, photoshoots, and creative direction across social, email, digital marketing, wholesale and retail. She also led creative direction within fashion and accessories design, including trend, color, print and silhouette.

Before JOLYN, she founded a contemporary womenswear label carried by Aritzia, Ssense, Revolve, and Henri Bendel.

"I'm not a tech person who learned fashion. I'm a creative director who spent twenty years inside apparel brands and then went deep on AI. That order matters. I know what a print approval actually involves. I know why the shoot ran long. You can't consult on a workflow you've never lived."Mallyce Miller
